Ubud Art Village, Scenic Waterfalls & Monkey Forest Tour

Ubud is Bali’s cultural hub, a Royal Village situated at the confluence of two rivers on the southern edge of the island’s cool mountainous foothills. A haven for local and foreign artists since the 1930s, it is the island’s centre for the arts and dance. In the surounding villages you can watch the island’s most accomplished painters, stonemasons, woodcarvers, maskmakers and silversmiths at work. The name Ubud comes from the balinese word ubad (medicine) because of the healing properties of plants growing by the Campuhan river on the western side town.
